All the best diving sites in Phu Quoc are located in the southern part of the island, where we have access to deeper, more diverse dive sites and richer marine life. In contrast, the northern site, Turtle Island, is quite shallow and generally unsuitable for certified divers, as most of the dive stays within 3 - 4 meters, with a max depth of 7- 8 meters on sandy bottoms. That location is typically used for courses or non-certified divers.

Diving Trip Details - Southern Phu Quoc

Tour includes 2 dives per trip.

Prices:

- Certified Divers: $90 (2 dives/person, ~45 - 50 min/dive depending on air consumption)

- Non-Certified Divers: $100 (2 dives/person, ~25 - 30 min/dive)

- Snorkelers: $35/person (~2 hours of snorkeling)

Price Includes:

- Hotel pickup/drop-off (certain areas)

- Full equipment

- Dive Master / Instructor

- Drinking water, fresh fruit

- Lunch on board

Price Excludes:

- Soft drinks, beer (served after diving only)

Dive Sites in the South

There are 12 islands with 17 dive sites in the southern area. Main diving spots include:

+ Coco Island

+ Roi Island

+ Pineapple Islet

+ Kim Quy

+ Dry Island

+ May Rut

+ Bat Island

+ Lighthouse Island

Dive sites vary by sea conditions, and we choose the 2 best ones each day.

Average depth: ~8m
Max depth: ~35m
There are usually two reef layers:

- Hard corals in shallow waters

- Soft corals below 7m

Marine life: reef fish, nudibranchs, small crabs, occasional schools of fish.

Diving Plan

- 08:00: Hotel pickup (depends on location)

- Transfer to boat, briefing, equipment setup

- Guests relax and enjoy scenery during transit

- 10:00: First dive

✅ Boat stays near shallow reefs for snorkelers and non-certified divers

✅ Certified divers grouped in max 4:1 ratio with Dive Master

✅ Dive deeper sites and return to boat after the dive

- 11:40: Second dive

- 13:00: Lunch served on board

• Return to harbor, then hotel drop-off between 14:00 - 17:00

For Divers:

- Full name, body weight, foot size

- Photo of scuba certification card

For Snorkelers: Name only

Before Pickup

- Have breakfast in advance

- Bring: towel, sunscreen, sunglasses

- Payment is made directly on board to guide

Notes for Non-Certified Divers

- Short training session on board before diving

- 1 Dive Master accompanies 1 guest underwater

- Max depth: 6m, duration ~25 minutes/dive

Requirements:

- Minimum age: 10 years old

- Good general health

- No history of heart, lung, or blood pressure issues

- Not pregnant

- Allow 18 hours after diving before flying
